The time taken to send
and receive faxes can be considerable - as much as 5
minutes per document. In a busy office environment, with
multiple users per machine, this can cause chaos. It is
also expensive in phone bills.
Once a fax has been
received, it is also necessary to either scan it (which
can be difficult with poorly transmitted faxes) or
manually key in the details.
The fax module of
iTECH's solution allows faxes to be received straight to
the desktop and information pulled out automatically.

outputting information, a fax can be sent at the touch
of a button from the desktop machine.

centred around Zetafax produced by Equisys. The Zetafax
e-mail gateway allows you to send and receive faxes from
your email client (i.e. Microsoft Exchange 2010; 2007; 2003;
2000 Lotus Domino and Notes 6; 6.5, and
later also Zetafax can connect to other SMTP email systems).
