Equisys launches new release of ZetaFax

Equisys, manufacturers of the ZetaFax solution supplied by iTECH have announced the latest version for their renowned fax sofware, Zetafax 2009.

The ZetaFax product is part of the paperless office solution provided by iTECH. The upgrades made by Equisys will have significant benefits for users of the automated fax solution.

New features for Zetafax Administrators:

• Support for Windows 7            
   

• Latest platform support: Microsoft Server 2008 64-bit and 32-bit, Windows Server 2003 64-bit, Lotus Domino 8) to keep the product current
   

• Support for Zetafax Server with Terminal Services
   

• Support for running the Zetafax Server under VMWare ESX and ESXi
   

• Fax over IP Connector (including Brooktrout SR140)
   

• Wider platform support for Brooktrout boards (using Brooktrout SDK 6.0, including support for Windows Server 2008)
   

• Enhanced rendering for Microsoft Office documents at the fax server, to simplify installation and improve system reliability  
   

• Improved support for higher volume systems (with large numbers of fax lines)
   

• Simplified client update feature
   

• Archive search, to improve retrieval of faxes by administrators from the compliance archive
   

• Sending direct from scanners, to improve usability when sending paper documents
